Applicant Screening & Testing
Our pre-employment background investigation exceeds that of most of our competitor's. We employ a comprehensive screening and hiring process, which includes carefully vetting each candidate by performing thorough background checks, investigating employment histories, verifying security clearances, firearms licensing, security guard credentials, and more.
In addition, all candidates are subjected to a pre-employment written psychological inventory and a psychological interview. The are also required to undergo a battery of aptitude tests, and a five-panel drug screening.
Universal personnel receive extensive in-service training in criminal law, police defensive tactics, firearms and American Red Cross First Aid.
Our training program exceeds that of many of our competitor's. In addition to in-class training, the knowledge of our management team is passed on to new recruits systematically and through procedural reinforcement.
